Hand Hygiene Guidelines
Role of patients and relatives
Patients and relatives are encouraged to use the hand hygiene facilities available in the trust.
All staff (including students) could be asked by patients and relatives if they cleaned their hands prior to patient contact (this is part of the "Cleanyourhands Campaign") Staff are expected to respond positively and comply with such requests.
