University of Nottingham China and Malaysia Alumni Scholarship

Continue your studies at the University of Nottingham in the UK with our masters scholarship for China and Malaysia campus alumni.

We're offering scholarships covering 15% of full-time masters tuition fees. These are open to alumni from the University of Nottingham's campuses in China and Malaysia.

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

• have successfully completed or be in your final year of a full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China or the University of Nottingham Malaysia (excluding combined courses such as 2+1 and 2+2)
• be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
• have firmly accepted an unconditional offer to start a full-time masters (excluding MRes) in any subject area at the University of Nottingham UK

When you have received your offer to study with us, you can apply through the scholarships section of our application system, NottinghamHub.

Applications for the China and Malaysia Alumni Scholarship will remain open until the arrival and registration period at our UK campuses. Applications for the scholarship in 2024 will close at midnight (UK time) on Friday 11 October 2024.

Application criteria

As part of the award criteria, we will check evidence of successful completion/graduation with the University of Nottingham Ningbo China or the University of Nottingham Malaysia.

If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to you as a student at Nottingham. We will not pay tuition fee scholarships to you directly.

This award cannot be combined with another University of Nottingham regional scholarship or an International Sporting Excellence Award. Very occasionally students may be offered a scholarship from their academic school, a sports scholarship package, or an external scholarship from your country. To maximise the reach of the university's scholarships offering, we aim not to double award, but in exceptional cases this may be possible, where the combined total does not exceed 100% of tuition fees.
