The Council of the Nottingham Medico-Chirurgical Society have awarded the McCallum Prize for 2008 to Kevin Shakesheff, John Hammond and Ian Beckingham.
Ian Beckingham is a liver surgeon at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham and Mr John Hammond is the Wellcome Trust Surgical Fellow in GI Surgery at the Nottingham University Medical School. Professor Kevin Shakesheff is the Professor of Advanced Drug Delivery here at the Pharmacy School. The whole team are invited to the AGM on Wednesday 25th June to receive their prize.
