Robert Hampson

PhD student, Rob Hampson, is taking part in an online event entitled 'I'm a Scientist get me out of here' where school classes can engage with five actual scientists via web chats during lesson time.  They can also send stand alone questions for the five scientists to answer. This is a national online outreach event for 9-18 year olds.

Each zone is a two week event and Rob is in the "Antibiotics zone" from 10th - 21st November.  The scientists receive votes from students and teachers and from the start of the second week there is an "eviction" every day.  The final remaining "winning" scientist will receive £500 for further science outreach/ communication events
