Primary Schools
School of Pharmacy After-School Science Club
The After-School Science Club aims to enthuse and excite local primary school children about science.
How does it work?
Core elements of science – chemistry, biology and physics are explored in a fun way. Undergraduate and postgraduate students and staff from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham visit local primary schools to deliver a one hour session on an interesting science topic of their choice. We have held sessions as diverse as 'DNA', 'fossils' and 'bacteria'.
How do I get involved?
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, or if you are a primary school that would like to be involved with this, please visit how to get involved.
