6th Physics Industry Recruitment and Placement Fair
About the Fair
The 6th Physics Industry Recruitment and Placement Fair is taking place on Wednesday 9 October 2019, 12 - 3.30pm, at the University of Nottingham, De Vere Jubilee Conference Centre.
This is the annual event organised by the White Rose Industrial Physics Academy (WRIPA) and hosted by the University of Nottingham this year. The School of Physics and Astronomy at the UoN is one of five WRIPA members along the Physics Departments at the univiersities of York, Sheffield, Leeds and Hull.
In 2018, the fair took at the University of York and was attended by about 40 employers and more than 700 undergraduate and postgraduate physics students from 14 regional universities.
For employers
For employers the fair offers an extremely effective way to gain visibility and name recognition with physics students as well as promote internship opportunities, year in industry placements and graduate jobs. This event is free to attend and exhibit.
