Vice Chancellor's Medal awarded to two politics students

Two students from the School of Politics and International Relations were among the recipients of this year's Vice-Chancellor's Medal – an accolade recognising exceptional achievements.

Adam Pratchett, MSci International Relations and Global Issues, was recognised for his work as Vice Chair of the Welfare in Sport Campaign. He focused on educating clubs on the importance of maintaining an inclusive and open environment and supporting students who may be struggling with their mental health.

George Thompson, BA Politics and Economics, was celebrated his role in founding Quids In, the UK’s first University Investment League, of which Oxford, UCL, Exeter and Nottingham are members. George has educated students in the art of trading and developed their confidence through opportunities to present on University Radio.
