Viva success for Peter Magill

We are delighted to announce that School of Politics and International Relations doctoral researcher Peter Magill has recently passed his PhD viva with minor corrections. 

Peter's thesis 'The Peculiar Relationship: Contemporary Anglo-French Defence Cooperation' looks at the current state of defence cooperation between the UK and France and evaluates how this cooperation functions. It studies the miliary relationship at the strategic, tactical and industrial levels and also how Brexit has impacted the relationship.

His thesis was examined by Professor Andrew Mumford and Professor Richard Whitman (University of Kent)).
