Katherine is a Doctoral Researcher at the School of Politics and International Relations. She is associated with the Centre for the Study of Social and Global Justice (CSSGJ) and the Nottingham Centre for Normative Political Theory (CONCEPT). Her PhD looks at themes found in major works of dystopian fiction and mass-consumer society through the lens of the Frankfurt School of Critical Theory.

Prior to starting her PhD, Katherine completed her MLitt in Strategic Studies under Sir Hew Strachan at the University of St. Andrews, and holds a BA in History and International Relations from the University of Nottingham.

She currently teaches on the module Introduction to Political Theory.
