Appointment of Dr Peter Trepte to the post of Senior Fellow in Public Procurement Law

The Public Procurement Research Group is delighted to announce that Dr Peter Trepte, Barrister and member of Littleton Chambers, has been appointed to the part-time position of Senior Fellow in Public Procurement Law in the School of Law. Peter’s special expertise and extensive practical experience in procurement reform in developing countries will both complement and supplement the expertise of existing members of the Public Procurement Research Group.

Peter has already made a significant contribution to the teaching of the Executive Programme in Public Procurement Law and Policy as a Special Professor, and this will develop further through this new appointment. He will be taking responsibility for modules on Organisation and Management of Procurement Systems, Corruption and Procurement, and Advanced EU Procurement Law, as well as providing assistance with other modules.

In addition, Peter will be engaged in furthering his world-leading research on public procurement regulation and reform, focusing in the near future on the problems of regulation as tool to address corruption, and on the organisation and management of procurement systems.
