Beatriz Gómez Fariñas is is our new visiting scholar (1 August 2019–31 October 2019).
Beatriz is researcher at the Department of Public Law of the University of Vigo, in Galicia, Spain. During her stay at Nottingham Beatriz will study the principle of proportionality, which has been recently recognized as one of the guiding principles on public procurement by the Directive 2014/24/EU. In particular, the main objective of her research is to find out how that principle can be made operational in practice by exploring the impact of this principle on each of the stages of procurement procedures.
