Dr Peter Trepte will be moderating a panel at the World Bank’s Fifth Suspension and Debarment Colloquium to be held in Washington DC on 23 April 2020.
The panel is entitled “The Importance of Transparency: Efforts to Enforce Debarment Decisions” and the panelists will be discussing how different debarment regimes ensure that debarred suppliers do not receive future contracts. In particular, they will be considering the extent to which the public nature of a debarment decision enhances the broader due diligence efforts of government agencies and third parties.
