PPRG to co-host session with the Cabinet Office to discuss the procurement Green Paper

On 23 February 2021 the PPRG will co-host with the Cabinet Office an open session for lawyers on the 2020 Green Paper, Transforming Public Procurement.

The session will cover chapters 3,4,5 and 8 of the Green Paper – procedures, selection and award, commercial tools (frameworks, DPS, qualification systems) and contract management. This is an open session for all lawyers to ask questions of the specialist teams in the Cabinet Office, provide feedback and discuss the finer points. Note there will be no presentations – the session will assume knowledge of the Green Paper. It is open to all lawyers, whether barristers or solicitors, in-house lawyers or those working with suppliers.

This joint event follows our previous very stimulating PPRG-Cabinet Office round table to discuss the finer points of the remedies proposals, such as how to formulate an automatic suspension test and how to avoid incentives to inappropriate settlements. We look forward to some similar, in-depth discussion on the topics covered by this session.

Those interested can register through eventbrite.
