UoN student given special commendation in national Jonathan Sime award for Environmental Psychology

University of Nottingham finalist 2016, Amara Waqar completed an outstanding final year project using planning tools (implementation intentions) to promote energy saving behaviour (with supervisor Alexa Spence). She was consequently awarded a School of Psychology prize for this project and has now been given a special commendation in a national competition in relation to the same project.

Amara Waqar has been commended within the Jonathan Sime Award competition which recognises a significant contribution to the field of environmental psychology in an undergraduate dissertation. This is an annual award which focuses on originality of thought, quality of research and with a focus on people-environment relationships.
