Biography
My educational background is in psychology, specifically in the area of developmental psychology. I obtained my Ph.D. in Psychology of Child Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and my B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from UCSI University. I have taught and worked in different educational and research settings, with each imparted a unique skill set and knowledge to me. I have also won and completed Taiwan fellowship as Taiwan Fellow in Academia Sinica, Taiwan, looking at cross-cultural comparative study of well-being among adolescents in Taiwan and Malaysia. In my previous institution, I was the Programme Director for the psychology undergraduate program, whereby I oversaw the program matters. I am passionate about understanding and working with children, adolescents, and youth, as well as improving the well-being of people, whereby my research mostly focus on. Being enthusiastic about bridging gaps between the academia and public, I frequently share on various media and community platforms, including tv and radio shows, schools and magazines.
