The School of Psychology provides our second year undergraduates with the opportunity to apply for a paid summer internship within the school.
This gives students the opportunity to gain research experience in an area of interest to them.
Students interested in this scheme are encouraged to approach potential supervisors working in areas in which they would like to gain research experience.
In order to be eligible to apply for a summer internship, students must have average second year marks of 65% or above.
Not all staff will be in a position to host an internship so it is important to speak to any potential supervisor ahead of the deadline. Preference will be given to those who have sought external funding to help support the internship.
As each staff member will be allowed a maximum of one school-funded internship, supervisors are asked to support no more than one internal studentship application. However, supervisors may support as many external applications for funding as they wish.
In addition, one internship can be undertaken at the Malaysia (UNMC) campus. However, associated flights and accommodation must be met by the student undertaking the internship at UNMC.
Please note that only University of Nottingham Psychology students are eligible to apply for our school-funded internships. We welcome applications for externally funded internships from students outside the School.
The deadline for internship applications in 2017 has passed and the deadline for 2018 is yet to be confirmed.
