Richard is a member of the Future Food leadership team. In 2016 he started the Food Innovation Centre which delivers SME business engagement projects and is involved in the development of the Food and Drink Manufacturing sector strategy at the local, regional and national levels.

Previously, Richard was the Director of the Food and Drink Innovation Network, working closely with businesses and universities in the East Midlands to initiate, fund and deliver collaborative innovation/research/growth projects.
