ICP-MS instruments

Perkin Elmer NexION 2000 ICP-MS equipped with a Perkin Elmer 4DXX FAST Dual Rinse autosampler is dedicated to performing the high-throughput plant ionomic phenotyping. With this instrument we measure the levels of up to 23 elements in a given sample including B, Na, Mg, Al, P, S, K, Ca, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Mo, Cd, Pb, Ti and Li just under two minutes that allows the analysis of approximately 300 samples per day.

Single Cell Perkin Elmer NexION 2000 ICP-MS equipped with the Single Cell Micro DX autosampler, Asperon spray chamber and Syngistix Single Cell Application Software Module is currently employed for the development of new tools and methodologies to study the plant ionome at the single cell level. This equipment has been made available by Future Food.
