The Rights Lab was excited to host the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner, Eleanor Lyons, in Nottingham this week (24 January 2024), for meetings with our team on anti-slavery data, policies, business action, survivor voice, solutions, and sector-specific research.

The day generated lots of new ideas for collaborations on research and data, across a whole range of areas that need better evidence.

We also were excited to host our partners from Nottingham City CouncilThe Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire, and the Notts Modern Slavery Partnership on campus, for a meeting with the Anti-Slavery Commissioner about innovative local approaches to tackling modern slavery.
