The Smart Products Beacon sponsored the Halfway to the Future symposium which explored the past, present and future of HCI and designed-based research and also mark the  20th anniversary of the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham.

Symposium programme

180 people from 57 organisations (including IBM and Microsoft Research), spanning across 13 countries attended HalfWay to the Future 2019.
