News_Aziz graduated!

Huge congratulations to Aziz, who successfully passed his viva on his PhD thesis entitled: "Infiltrins as a novel regulatory principle of host-parasite interactions: New targets for vaccination?". His External Examiner was Prof Murray Selkirk from Imperial College London.

Aziz work was performed in collaboration with Prof Michael H. Hsieh at BRI Rockville (MD), Luke Pennington and Prof Ted Jardetzky at Stanford University. He also collaborated with Prof David M. Heery, Assoc Prof Nigel Mogan and Dr Robin Flynn here in Nottingham. Two papers so far have been generated with Aziz' involvement, the first published in Infection and Immunity, the second soon to be published in Faseb Journal. More to follow in the future hopefully!

Aziz graduated on July 17th 2017 and he is now setting up his own lab at King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology (KACST) in Saudi Arabia. Well done, Dr Alouffi, you will be missed here!
