Our Helicobacter pylori research wins prize for best poster presentation

The XXXth International Workshop on Helicobacter & Microbiota in Inflammation & Cancer took place in Bordeaux, France, September 7 - 9, 2017. This is the yearly meeting of the European Helicobacter and Microbiota Study Group - EHMSG. The meeting is well attended by scientists and clinicians alike; this year had more than 600 participants from all over the world.

Our poster entitled "Hanging on for dear life: New molecular insights into how Helicobacter pylori adheres to the gastric epithelium" was awarded the prize for the best poster presentation (basic science). Kudos to Vasiliki, Aymen, Mohammed, Nora, our local and international collaborators and last but not least our colleagues at AstraZeneca!
