Presenters and the audience may have struggled with pronouncing Vasiliki's surname, but the science presented by her was crystal-clear, and well received by the large audience at AstraZeneca in Macclesfield. Vasiliki spoke about her progress with the development of a novel drug delivery platform for increased gastric retention using Helicobacter pylori adhesins.
Many congratulations to the prize winner and a big thank you to all people involved in supervising this successful project, including Paul Gellert and Ross Overman at AstraZeneca. We are heading for a new paper soon.
