Professor Irit Mevorach participated in expert discussions at UNCITRAL

Description
On 2-3 September 2019, Professor Irit Mevorach participated in expert sessions at UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law) in Vienna, on the development of a new regime for the insolvency of micro and small entities (MSEs).

Dr Orsolya Toth was an invited speaker at the 11th Transnational Commercial Law Teachers' Conference in London

Description
Dr Orsolya Toth presented a paper entitled 'Trade Usage: The Achilleas Heel of English Law?' arguing that a clear recognition of trade usage is needed under English law to ensure the coherent development of the law on contractual damages.
