Viking Leicestershire by Roderick Dale
Viking Leicestershire, by our former Cultural Engagement Fellow Dr Roderick Dale, is published this month by local publisher Five Leaves Publications. The book is an accessible and up-to-date account of the latest research into Viking Age Leicestershire, based on textual, onomastic and archaeological evidence, with many illustrations. You can buy it online from the publisher, or from Nottingham's independent bookshop Five Leaves Bookshop.
In 2017 Five Leaves also published Viking Nottinghamshire by our colleague Dr Rebecca Gregory.
