Maria Jose (Marisé) Galvez Trigo




Marisé is Lecturer in the Interactive Technologies Lab, School of Computer Science at the University of Lincoln and Associate member of the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham. She has a multi-disciplinary profile with a background in Computer Science, Engineering, and Human Factors.

Marisé is interested in robotics, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) and Machine Learning (ML). Her research involves educational robots, industrial robots, and other, mainly embodied, Autonomous Systems, exploring trust in these systems, as well as control interfaces and novel ways of interaction that could improve the accessibility and inclusiveness of these technologies.

Marisé also has experience working in the Industry sector as IT consultant, Software Integrator, Web Developer and Games Producer, which contributes to the way in which she carries out her teaching and research activities.
