Description

Free event for staff and students.

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the School of Sociology and Social Policy warmly invite you to three very special events for Black History Month. These events aim to provoke reflection and to open up new conversations between students and staff about the social world we inhabit and about the learning and thinking that goes on within the school.

This third event - Decolonising the Curriculum – is an opportunity to re-think the beliefs that underpin the curriculum, to challenge these values and to imagine a different curriculum that is inclusive of other voices/histories/theories.

Coffee will be available from 2.15pm in the Law and Social Sciences Building, room A4, and the workshop will run from 2.30-5pm. We do hope that you will join us for this event.
