Examinations

Information on exams is available on our website. If your question isn’t answered there, please search the below FAQs.

Answer:

You can view your exam timetable via Sharepoint.

Please ensure that you check your timetable very carefully. If you notice anything missing please email the Exams Office.

If there is an examination missing on your timetable you should first check that your module entries are correct on MyNottingham.

If these are incorrect, please contact your Student Services Centre.

Answer:

The exam timetable for summative Rogo examinations is published on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Access to your personal timetable is via:

Your School/Module Convenor/Student Services Centre will email you with your individual timetable for all non-Rogo exams that take place during the Autumn semester.

The Examinations Office is unable to give out assessment results. Your School/Service Centre will advise when results can be viewed via Blue Castle

2020/21 Examination Dates

Autumn Semester Examinations: The examinations took place between Monday 11 January and Friday 29 January.

Spring Semester Examinations: There is no formal assessment period for the Spring Semester, but it is expected that the majority of examinations will take place from Tuesday 1 June to Friday 18 June.

Re-sit Examinations: There is no formal assessment period for the Reassessments, but it is expected that the majority of examinations will take place from Monday 16 August to Saturday 4 September.

Make sure you have entered the full URL (https://uniofnottm.sharepoint.com/sites/Portal/ExamTimetable) and login using username@nottingham.ac.uk

The Exams Office are unable to cancel or rearrange any examinations.  If you know in advance that you will not be able to sit your examination, you should notify your School.

Answer:

There are currently no plans to hold face to face examinations for UK delivered modules at all, at any location.

Assessments which are being set, have been organised in such a way that you can do this from your current location. 

Your application to sit ‘overseas’ will not be needed.
