Immersive placements to boost your skills

Gain real experience and develop skills to unlock a variety of career routes whilst studying health promotion and public health.

How does an immersive placement in an area you’re passionate about sound?

At Nottingham, not only will you be gaining an understanding of the latest research in health promotion and public health, but you’ll also be building confidence and growing your knowledge.

In year two, you’ll have the opportunity to put your learning into practice. You'll organise your own four-week placement, which can be in an area of health promotion or public health that interests you. You can choose to work locally, nationally, or even internationally.

This placement will give you the opportunity to get involved in an issue or area that interests you and to build essential professional skills and behaviours needed to succeed after you graduate.
