The below information relates to our October 2023 open days. Check back next year for our 2024 open day information.

We want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to meet the needs of all our visitors. The below table outlines the services available on the day to make your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Accessible toilets Service

Most buildings have one or more wheelchair accessible toilets. Their locations are shown on plans fixed at building entrances. Please ask staff in blue t-shirts to signpost you on the day, or find accessible toilets in:

Jubilee Campus:

Accessible travel (minibus) Service

This is a service for visitors with mobility needs who would like help getting around University Park Campus and Jubilee Campus. Please contact the minibus on the number below to be picked up. This service can be used by those with both temporary or long-term impairments as well as pregnant visitors

Prayer rooms Drop-in The university provides a range of rooms on every campus for prayer and religious observance. This includes a Christian chapel, Muslim prayer rooms, and several multi-faith prayer rooms which are available to all faiths 9.30am-4pm

Quiet space Drop-in A quiet, safe space for anyone who needs a break from the day’s activities. This is a low-sensory environment for those who need it 9.30am-4pm

Sport Drop-in We work alongside the Students’ Union and the Disability Support Services team to ensure that there are accessible sporting and fitness opportunities for all students at the university.
