The Unison branch at University of Nottingham fully supports our colleagues in the UCU who are taking industrial action to defend their pensions.
The University made £33 million surplus last year. It can easily afford to pay all staff a good pension.
We are advising our members at the university to visit colleagues on the picket lines to show support, and not to cover work that would have been done by striking UCU colleagues.
If you have any queries about this please email email@example.com straightaway.
The University of Nottingham UCU branch has a fighting fund to raise money for members who would be in financial hardship through taking industrial action. If you would like to donate, the details are:
UCU Nottingham LA63, Hardship FundSort Code 608301Account number 20346359
Visit the UCU branch website for more on the industrial action
We negotiate on behalf of members in APM and O&F grades, tradesmen, supervisory tradesmen, and service supervisors – senior catering and residential staff.
