Join us for an inspiring day dedicated to the growth and development of our region’s healthcare professionals.

Explore a variety of information sessions, interactive exhibition zone and networking opportunities and discover the opportunities available at the University of Nottingham for healthcare professionals to advance skills and develop their career. This event is aimed at trust leads, primary care leads, healthcare workforce development professionals or healthcare professionals looking to develop their skills.

Healthcare Degree Apprenticeships

Organisations and healthcare professionals are invited to discover our apprenticeships specifically designed for the sector. Meet our programme teams, hear from current employers and apprentices and take a deep dive into our programmes.

Healthcare Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Explore the wide range of CPD opportunities available at the university for healthcare professionals. This short, informative session will introduce the flexible programmes and short courses designed to support your professional growth—whether you're seeking development for yourself or exploring options for your team.

Overcoming barriers to setting up clinical supervision

Kate Knowles and Dominic Purnell will discuss best practices for setting up clinical supervision, how to overcome barriers and link into further support.

Clinical leadership (ACP and beyond)

Professor Stephen Timmons, Director of the University’s Centre for Health Innovation, Leadership and Learning discusses the importance of developing leadership skills at all levels of your organisation. Viewing leadership as a practice and not a person, Professor Timmons invites you to explore how leadership skills can elevate your organisations performance from ACP and beyond.

Interactive Skills Zone

Our skills zone exhibition area provides an opportunity for you to take part in hands-on demonstrations and discuss our skills development opportunities in more detail with university representatives.
