PhD Student and Teaching Assistant, Faculty of Arts
Donatella earned both her bachelor and master's degrees in Philosophy from the University of L'Aquila (Italy), and joined the PhD program at the University of Nottingham in 2013. She is primarily interested in Metaphysics, and her current research lies at the intersection of the metaphysics of causation and the philosophy of time. More specifically, she is exploring the relation between causal powers and time. She is focusing on the metaphysical consequences of powers ontology: which account of causation and modality it gives rise to, and which theory of time should be preferred within such a framework (if any).
