Current Research

I'm now working on a theory of persistence. I try to build a dynamic theory of persistence in a non-reductive sense. Standard theories of persistence such as endurantism, perdurantism, and exdurantism are reductionism about change, and this makes them static theories of persistence. Thus, I'm working on a different framework in which change is fundamental.

Past Research

I was working on some epistemological and metaphysical issues on mind. One epistemological issue was this: how and why can we understand others? I did this through some theories of meaning and communication in philosophy of language. One metaphysical issue was this: what is mental causation? I did this through examining some literatures concerning the exclusion problem. This metaphysical issue led me to the current research topic.
