The University of Nottingham is placed =75th in the world and in the top 1% of Universities internationally by the latest (2016) QS World University Rankings
In UK league tables, the University has maintained its position in the top 30 UK Universities for 2016/7.

The University of Nottingham was also shortlisted for the Times Higher Education ‘University of the Year’ in 2009, 2011 and 2012 and has been shortlisted again in 2016.
The Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey (published April 2015), which polls student opinion on 21 aspects of university life, placed Nottingham 12th in the UK.
The University of Nottingham was awarded a place in the 101-150 ranking group by ShanghaiRanking's World Top 500 Universities.
The Times Good University Guide 2017 states:
"Nottingham is back in our top 20 after moving up five places this year, due mainly to a significant increase in student satisfaction. It is the biggest rise among the leading group of universities and enough to earn a shortlisting for our University of the Year award.
A member of the Russell Group, Nottingham has award-winning campuses in China and Malaysia as well as 330 acres of parkland in its home city, one of the most attractive university settings in the UK."
Our research was ranked 8th in the UK for Research Power in the Research Excellence Framework 2014 - the UK's official five-yearly assessment.
The University of Nottingham is the best university in the UK for graduate employment, according to the 2017 The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide, published in September 2016.
We're also ranked in the world top 100 Universities for employability (Times Higher Education Global University Employability Ranking 2016). The annual High Fliers survey of Brtain's top 100 employers found that Nottingham was the 2nd most targetted University by this group in 2015/6.
