Rachel Jessop is part of the School Placement Team, supports Undergraduate and Masters students undertaking compulsory and optional work placements/years in industry. She advises students and staff regarding work placements both in the UK and abroad and promotes placements across the School.
Rachel is also the Study Abroad Advisor for the School, working with the School's Director of Internationalisation, and is secretary to the School's International Strategy Group. She actively promotes study abroad opportunities to students and works with academic staff to facilitate international opportunities for Biosciences students.
Rachel has significant experience in international education and has previously worked in the University of Nottingham's International Office for 8 years, as well as at the University of Birmingham and De Montfort University, in roles relating to study abroad.
She has specific expertise with outward student mobility including study abroad, volunteering and internships.
