MBA

Our Master of Business Administration is delivered on a full-time basis over 12 months or part-time basis for between 2 and 4 years. The programme consists of seven core modules with a choice of five electives and is completed by undertaking an individual or group management project. The core subjects ensure that you study essential areas of management, whilst the electives and management project allow you to build on these fundamental areas and tailor-make your own version of the Nottingham MBA.

The MBA programme is designed to provide an advanced course in management for individuals seeking senior positions in industry, commerce and public services. The core subjects of the MBA are aimed at developing knowledge and skills in fundamental management disciplines. The elective subjects permit course members to concentrate in-depth on more specific subjects according to individual interests and career requirements. The programme involves participation in group work with participants from a range of different industrial, commercial, geographical and cultural backgrounds. The MBA is aimed at improving the decision making abilities of participants and producing managers of the highest quality.

Individuals wishing to study overseas can take the core management subjects at Nottingham in Semester 1 and will be offered a choice of elective modules delivered by our overseas partner institutions, including our Malaysian campus, in Semester 2. This option is only available on the full-time programme and an additional fee will be payable.

Corporate Social Responsibility

The MBA Corporate Social Responsibility was the first MBA of its kind in Britain, the focus of which is on socially responsible business. This unique programme, offered in conjunction with the School's International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (ICCSR), combines advanced teaching and learning in management with state of the art thinking in corporate social responsibility. This combination allows progressive learning at the leading edge of knowledge in the general discipline of management studies and socially responsible business. Specialist core modules include:

The MBA Finance is designed to provide an advanced course in management for those seeking senior positions in industry, commerce and public services. The programme aims to develop the essential management skills required in finance and related services to meet and participate in the increasingly international business environment. It builds upon the essential core management modules allowing greater emphasis on the financial aspects of management. Specialist core modules include:
