Research staff and PhD students

The Careers and Employability Service is committed to supporting the career development of post doctoral research staff and PhD students at The University of Nottingham.

This support is available whether you intend to continue in an academic career or are considering career options outside academia. The University of Nottingham is a world top twenty choice for employers in the QS World Ranking 2009/10.

We offer:

  • access to  print and electronic resources
  • career management workshops ─ in partnership with the Graduate School, Graduate Centres and Professional Development 

Our team of careers advisers and information officers work with all students, including PhD researchers.
