Centre for Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine

The Centre for Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine (CEVM) was established in 2009, and is based at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science at the University of Nottingham. This new research initiative is sponsored by Novartis Animal Health and the University of Nottingham.

The CEVM aims to:

  • Undertake research to answer questions generated by veterinarians that are important to clinical practice and animal health and welfare
  • Disseminate the findings of this research to the veterinary profession to enhance the use of current evidence in clinical decision making

The Centre of Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine aims to develop and promote the principles of evidence-based veterinary medicine in all aspects of the veterinary profession.
