The School has a strong interdisciplinary team working at the life sciences interface using expertise in synthesis, protein biochemistry and in analytical and structural analysis to develop programmes in:

• medicinal chemistry and drug discovery
• bacterial biology
• epigenetics
• structural biology
• biophysics
• the development of chemical probes for biological applications.
