School researchers at SET for Britain

Dr Igor Chernyavsky and Mr Arnd Korn, researchers in the School of Mathematical Sciences, attended the 'SET for Britain' exhibition at the House of Commons recently to represent mathematics in the UK, two of only three attendees from the University of Nottingham. The event, held on 17 March, brought together around 200 young researchers from across the Natural Sciences, to present their work to MPs. Dr Chernyavsky presented a poster of his work on modelling of the placenta, and Mr Korn of his work on modelling seed germination.
