Course description

This is a course for overseas candidates who do not practise in the UK. It will cover topics such as risk management, audit, clinical governance. It is open to UK trainees who feel they need to re-visit these topics

This programme is open to all, but is particularly useful for overseas candidates and covers aspects of Clinical Governance and risk management in the UK.

Course description

Immediately preceding each theory course (on a Friday) is a one-day session on aspects of practice in the UK. This is open to all, but is particularly useful for overseas candidates and covers aspects of Clinical Governance and risk management in the UK. The basis of Clinical Audit is also discussed as is how to perform a critique of scientific papers and patient information.

Location

Nottingham City Hospital

The course venue is a teaching hospital in a vibrant, lively city in the centre of England with easy access to the motorways, the rail network and East Midlands airport. The hospital has its own hotel so there is inexpensive accommodation available on-site, and there is a range of local hotels near the venue.

We also have access to cheap and easy parking.
