Welfare
The Counselling
Service is a free and confidential service to help you
through any issue of concern including bereavement or exam
stress. If you need legal advice, contact the Student
Advice Centre for details of the free scheme. For religious
information and support (multi-faith) contact the University
Chaplaincy. You can always call Niteline
- the free and confidential listening and information service
run by the Students Union. The University runs Childcare
Services available to students with young children.

Money / Finances
For information on Student Loans, hardship funds and other
funding for students, see the Student
Support Office. The Student
Services Centre can advise on your eligibility for certain
benefits and offer help with handling debt and how to manage
your money. Students with disabilities may be eligible for
the Disabled Students Allowance or other sources of funding.
The Office
for Disability Issues can advise on eligibility and the
Study Support Centre
can help in identifying support needs. If you need to earn
money to support your studying, the Student
Employment Service could help find work and the Careers
Advisory Service can advise on getting work experience
relevant to your future career.

Office in halls of residence or University-owned flats.
