University Mental Health Day 2017

Undergraduate students relaxing in in the Millennium Garden, University Park 714x249

University Mental Health day is taking place on Thursday 2 March this year. The theme is ‘get active for your mental health’.

While mental health is often associated with illness, the idea of the day is to promote the understanding that everyone has mental health and there are lots of positive things we can do to nurture it.

There will be a number of things going on around campus, including information stalls at the Portland Building and a programme of fitness activities available for all students to try.

You can also keep the conversation going online and tweet about what you do to keep active. Address your tweet to @UoNSports and use the hashtag #UniMentalHealthDay. The top 10 most inspirational tweets will receive pamper packs so that you can look after you!

Visit the HealthyU webpages to find out more.
