Space Resource & CAD Services

Covering over 450 buildings across all of the UK locations, the University of Nottingham Space Resource & CAD Services are responsible for all aspects of space management: strategies, allocation, design, development and future requirements. In consultation with School and Departments they ensure project proposals are aligned with the University’s policies and wider strategic picture.

Adrian Mawdsley: Space Resource & Programme Manager

Heading up the team, Adrian’s key responsibilities are:

· General Management

· Strategic Development

· Co-ordinating, developing and delivering optimal space solutions for the University

· Technical Secretary to the University’s Space Management Committee

· Liaison officer for the team with Faculties and other University professional service teams

 

Hugo Bloch: Project Officer

Within the team, Hugo is responsible for:

· Feasibility surveys and project costings

· Project co-ordination within the team

· Management of PM process and procedures within the team

· Condition of Centrally Timetabled Rooms

 

Keith Duncan: CAD Officer

Supporting the team and extended Estates department, Keith works predominantly on AutoCAD:

· Management of drawing records

· Site and building surveys

· Hazard, accessibility and ground plans

· Presentation material – graphics and imagery

 

George Buffery: Space Resource Officer

Within the team, George is responsible for:

· Data Management and storage

· Data Analysis

· Database Development

· Presentation material – data and information
