Ordinance XIII: Senate

1. The Senate shall consist of the following*:-
   
   1. The President and Vice-Chancellor who shall be Chair of the Senate.
   2. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
   3. The Pro-Vice-Chancellors.
   4. Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Provost, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.
   5. Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Provost, University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
   6. Three academic representatives from each international campus, including one non-Dean Professor and one non-Dean non-Professor, to be appointed by the Provost of that campus.
   7. The Faculty Pro-Vice-Chancellors and Faculty of Engineering Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellors.
   8. The Vice-Provosts and Faculty Deans, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.
   9. The Vice-Provosts and Faculty Deans, University of Nottingham Ningbo China. 
   10. The Heads of the Academic Schools or equivalent in the University.
   11. Ten Professors in the University not being Heads of Schools, to be elected in a manner prescribed by Ordinance XIV, 1.
   12. Thirty members of the non-professorial academic and research staff of the University as prescribed by Ordinance XIV, 2.  There will be six staff elected from each of the five Faculties.
   13. Two sabbatical officers and four undergraduates and two postgraduates selected by the Students' Union.
   14. The President of the Students' Association, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.
   15. The President of the Students' Union, University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
   16. The Chair of the Quality and Standards Committee.
2. The members referred to in paragraphs (6), (11) and (12) of subsection 1 shall be members of Senate for a period of four years.
