City Community PLT Discussion Area
Hello and welcome to the City Community Combined Virtual PLT. We consist of many ‘city’ District Nurse teams along with other community oriented placements from both the Derby Hospitals Foundation Trust and also the Private, Voluntary and Independent (PVI) sectors.
It is not intended that this site will replace face to face contact but it is here as an additional resource which will hopefully enable you, as mentors, to receive answers to queries in an easy and speedy manner. Ideally it would be good if we could also have some debate and discussion regarding mentoring issues. Ultimately, the site is here for you and aims to assist with your mentoring role and the practice experience of the student. Please post your comments, questions and opinions. I will get back to you promptly and may post links to resources.
Your opinions and experience are extremely valuable so please feel free to share them. If you are able to offer help and advice to a colleague you can do this by contributing to the discussion area.
