Study reveals Climate Change impact on WWI and the Spanish Flu

A paper published in GeoHealth has shown a rare climate anomaly occured during the years including World War I and the "Spanish Flu" pandemic. The research looks at alpine ice cores from the Colle Gnifetti glacier in the Swiss-Italian Alps. 

Professor Christopher Loveluck (Classics and Archaeology) was part of the study, led by Harvard University and the Climate Change Institute, University of Maine.
