Dr Qiang Zhang awarded prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship

Dr Qiang Zhang, who is currently on an ESRC postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of History, has been awarded a prestigious, three-year Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship under the Horizon Europe scheme for this project “The War on Historical Nihilism: Conflicting Propaganda Needs and Counter-Memories in China”.

Dr Zhang has been awarded €312,938 for the fellowship. Dr Zhang will be mentored by Professor Jeremy Taylor (History) on this MSCA, and will also spend a period of time affiliated with the Center for East Asian Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where he will be working with Professor Arthur Waldron.
