Dr Andrew Cobbing to feature on BBC Radio 4 - Thursday April

On Thursday 4 April, associate professor at The University of Nottingham Dr Andrew Cobbing will be talking with two other discussants on Melvyn Bragg’s ‘In Our Time’ programme on BBC Radio 4. Richard Bowring and Rebekah Clements from Cambridge will join Andrew to deliberate the topic: Is ‘Sakoku’ - Japan’s self-imposed seclusion under Tokugawa rule.
